The Rankin Family returns this fall with an intimate Acoustic Tour, following the success of their latest album “These Are The Moments.” The Rankin Family Acoustic Tour-Up Close and Personal hits the stage in November, travelling to intimate venues across Eastern Canada.
Reworking their new and time-honored hits, Raylene, Jimmy, Cookie, and Heather will get up close and personal, mesmerizing audiences with their haunting melodies and poignant lyrics that resonate with the soul. Pairing back the instrumentation and uncovering the vocal complexities of each song, the Rankin Family’s signature harmonies will take centre stage. The Acoustic Tour will allow audiences to experience the sheer, raw talent of the Rankin Family that has captivated fans worldwide. With the overwhelming support of their fans and the success of their 2007 Reunion Tour, the Rankin Family continues to perform and remains one of Canada’s most celebrated musical families.

Hailing from Calgary, MBF has not only won the hearts of fans locally, but has started to gain recognition on a national scale. Compared to the likes of Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz, MBF will light up the stage with his original, earnest, expressive sound. Michael’s full length studio album, “The MBF Love LP,” was released in 2009 and was produced by Russell Broom (Jann Arden).
