Kings of Friday Night: The Lincolns is the title of a new book written by Truro-born-and-raised Jay Johnston. The book features a foreword by former Lincoln John MacLachlan Gray and an Afterword by the late, great Lincoln singer, Frank MacKay.
Kings of Friday Night: The Lincolns will be launched on Saturday May 9th 2020 at the Marigold Cultural Centre. Jay will read a few highlights from the book and those readings will be interspersed with performances by the one and only Lincolns, fronted by Charlie A'Court.
Doors will open at 6:00 pm and there will be a Meet and Greet with Jay and the Lincolns.
Festivities begin in the Theatre at 7:00 pm, introduced by MC Mayor Bill Mills.
At 8:30 pm there will be sales of the book, book signing and the sale of Lincolns CD's which contain the taping of the last performance by the Lincolns in September of 2018, and a reception with catering provided by the CEC CEP Program.
