For the first time since 2017, the Colchester East Hants Hospice Society is proud to present: You'll Die Laughing, a night of comedy that helps to raise funds and awareness for Hospice programs and services.

This year's event will feature Fiona O'Brien as our headlining comedian, with Truro's own Deb Barnhill as our opener.

Fiona O'Brien:
After Emigrating from Dublin Ireland to Toronto Canada in 2012 Fiona began on a quest to stamp out the racism that the Irish face....One Lucky Charm at a time.

Fiona knows the Irish are not a race, but she cannot pronounce Xenophobia.
Fiona quickly established herself by winning over audiences. She has been featured on Funny Women UK, Halifax Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, Winnipeg Comedy Festival. A regular on CBC's Lol and CBC's Because News. JFL Toronto, JFL Canada on Sirius XM and Yuk Yuks. Opened for Gerry Dee on tour.
Comedy Album 'Magically Malicious' out now on iTunes and Spotify.
After providing the world with three future tax payers (all born by C Sections, just saying) Fiona has decided to dedicate her life to making sexually frustrated, disillusioned and bored people laugh with her no restraint provocative humour.

Deb Barnhill:
Deb is a longtime Truro resident, wife and empty nester, recently retiring after a 27-year career as a pharmacist. Deb is a graduate of the Second City's Stand-up Comedy program Levels 1 and 2, where she entertained tens of people via Zoom. On the live stage, she has appeared in Hubtown Theatre's 'Looking' and has been a frequent performer and writer for Truro productions of the Vagina Monologues. Deb made her in-person comedic debut in 2022 and has become a regular performer in Truro, with performances including International Women's Day, FIFCO Comedy (Truro Brewing Company) and the Truro Famous Awards.
