Claiming to be time-travelers (from 1993 to be exact) LeafGreen boasts a sound that marries the likes of Green Day with Sloan, The Descendants to Weezer, etc. Their first single, “Intro” is a tasteful nod to the lyrical prowess of Kobain, where borderline cryptic lyrics become oddly relatable. Tortured, but too amused to dwell on it; LeafGreen is for the fun-loving kid in all of us. Even if they're a little angsty.
