14× Australian Blues Award winner Lloyd Spiegel is a bluesman at his core, a guitarist by trade, a comedian by nature, and a showman at heart. He blends powerful vocals and jaw-dropping guitar prowess with a knack for humour and storytelling to deliver a unique, captivating performance that crosses genres and generations. One of Australia’s most celebrated artists, Spiegel has spent 30 of his 40 years touring the globe, developing a career that began at just ten years old. Growing up on stage while learning from, and touring with, the founding fathers of modern blues, he forged a signature style that honours the traditions of the music he loves while creating a link in the chain of its evolution.

With ten albums and a near non-stop touring schedule, Spiegel performs over one hundred shows a year on theatre stages and major festivals across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Highlights include the Montreal Jazz Festival (CAN), Kansas City Blues Festival (USA), Sapporo Blues Festival (Japan) and the Groningen Rhythm and Blues Festival (NL). His contributions to the genre earned him induction into the Blues Music Victoria Hall of Fame, where he is the youngest artist ever to be honoured.

A respected trailblazer for modern blues, Spiegel was named one of Australian Guitar Magazine’s 50 Greatest Australian Guitarists of All Time. He is also the face of Cole Clark Guitars, whose Lloyd Spiegel Signature Series — including the groundbreaking “True Hybrid” acoustic-electric models — reflects his impact on guitar innovation.

Driven by a belief that everyone deserves access to music, Spiegel leads an instrument-donation program for schools, volunteers with an all-abilities choir, and serves as an ambassador for Blues Music Victoria and Make Music Australia.
