Based out of Truro Nova Scotia, The Hub Town Big Band is an 18-piece modern jazz ensemble, led by bassist and music teacher John MacLeod. The band is comprised of some of the best music educators in the province and features a number of Nova Scotia's top jazz musicians. It is comprised of five saxophones, four trombones, five trumpets, flute and a rhythm section of piano, bass, guitar, and drums. This show will also feature vocalists Catherine Campbell and Janice Alcorn. The band plays a range of music from traditional big band to modern songs of a variety of jazz genres.
