Theatre Policies

The Marigold Cultural Centre has guidelines in place to ensure that all guests experiences are enjoyable and memorable.

Refunds/Exchanges

There are no refunds. However, we will gladly exchange the ticket to another performance or a gift certificate of equal value if the tickets were purchased at our box office and it is a Marigold event (exchanges will not be made because of bad weather if the show is still on). Exchanges cannot be processed within 48 hours before or after the date of the performance. In the event of a show cancellation, refunds will be made available.

Late Seating

Latecomers will be seated at an appropriate break, in order to minimize disturbance to the other patrons and performers.  The time of seating will be at the discretion of management.

Wheelchairs/mobility issues

We have four locations for wheelchairs or persons with mobility issues.  Should you require a wheelchair seat, please contact the box office [(902) 897-4004] in advance of the performance. (Seats not guaranteed)

Children and Babes in Arms

The Marigold Cultural Centre welcomes children old enough to enjoy our performances and occupy their own seat. Regardless of age, all guests require a paid ticket. Babes in arms are not permitted.

Cameras and Recording Equipment

Cameras and recording equipment are not permitted in the theatre without prior permission by management and the performer.

Cell Phones

As a courtesy to others, please turn all cell phones to silent prior to the show starting.

Other Policies

  • The Marigold Cultural Centre is a smoke-free environment throughout the whole facility.

  • Please avoid fragrances that may disturb others.

  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the theatre.

  • Seats can not be put on hold and paid at a later date.

Rental POLICIES

  • The Marigold Cultural Centre will not accept applications for any group or organization that endorses views or ideas that promote discrimination, contempt, or hatred. The purposes, practices, and event proposals of the Organizer must be consistent with the Nova Scotia Human Rights Act.
