Kings of Friday Night: The Lincolns is the title of a new book written by Truro-born-and-raised Jay Johnston. The book features a foreword by former Lincoln John MacLachlan Gray and an Afterword by the late, great Lincoln singer, Frank MacKay.
Kings of Friday Night: The Lincolns will be launched on Sunday, October 17th at the Marigold Cultural Centre. Jay will read a few highlights from the book and those readings will be interspersed with performances by the one and only Lincolns.
Doors will open at 6:00 PM and there will be a Meet and Greet with Jay and the Lincolns.
Festivities begin in the Theatre at 7:00 PM, introduced by MC Mayor Bill Mills.
At 8:30 PM there will be sales of the book, book signing, and the sale of Lincolns CD's which contain the taping of the last performance by the Lincolns in September of 2018.
